Youcai Resources announced at noon on October 9 that the "80000 tons of functional composite special fiber technical transformation project" invested by the company's public offering of convertible bonds to raise funds was recently completed and entered the trial production stage. It will take some time for the project to reach full production from trial operation.

The project has an investment of more than 0.4 billion yuan. It is a waste plastic recycling project. It adopts the integrated technology of high-efficiency recycling of waste polyester and fiber preparation industrialization to recycle waste polyester. After the completion of the project, the annual utilization of waste polyester 22000 tons, the annual output of 80000 tons of functional composite special fiber capacity, the annual converted carbon reduction of 14100 tons.

The project can provide qualified and high-quality chemical fiber particle raw materials for the production of the company's recycled polyester fiber through the comprehensive utilization of various waste textiles. The implementation of the project can enable the company to further extend to the upstream industrial chain, reduce the cost of raw materials, and further improve the quality and stability of the supply of raw materials used in the company's high-end recycled fiber products based on the excellent color, viscosity and other indicators of the chemical fiber particles produced.
